Monday 'ness'

Monday 'ness'
It is a fact universally recognised that MONDAYS are the most luxurious of days to be off.  You can take your Saturdays and your Sundays and do with them what you like, and of course that Friday feeling is felt by nine to fivers the world over.  But for me, as someone who mostly works weekends, having a Monday off is something else.  Even if I do work most weekends, Mondays are still usually met with the same slump as most, and that feeling that the w-h-o-l-e week is still to come.  So going to bed on a Sunday evening, safe in the knowledge th…

Sunday in Senses

Sunday in Senses
Sunday is my favourite day of the week hands down.  I am rarely lucky to bag a whole weekend off work, but Sundays, well i only work one in three.  There is nothing nicer than sinking into bed late on a saturday evening, knowing that you can sleep until your eyes want to wake up and indulge in a more luxurious breakfast and two cups of tea instead of just one.  Today i thought i would share my favourite day in 'senses' with you…

Find Me

Find Me
Looking Up //Always and with out a shadow of a doubt.  I am usually found in some sort of blossom daze.  Always looking up, not paying attention, bumping into things and not watching where i am going.  My spacial awareness disappears when it comes to skies and blossom.  not that i had any to start with

The Fixer

The Fixer
When i was younger, it was much easier to fix what was going on INSIDE.  This was usually because whatever was troubling my much littler self was not 'the end of the world' as my mother would always say.  I'd often got a few spellings wrong, grazed my knee or lost a crucially iportant Polly Pocket.  At that precise moment it really did feel like the end of the world:  like nothing in the world would ever feel worse than that precise moment in time.  Then i would have a cup of Magic (TEA - BUT THE EXTRA SPECIAL KIND THAT ONLY MUMS C…

Sky Diver

Sky Diver
For someone like me who is a bit of a wimp when it comes to heights, it is a little ironic that i feel like i have spent most of this week (dangerously) 'ooh-ing' and 'aah-ing' at various cloudless, cloudful and just down right stunning SKIES recently.  I would like to say i am not going to bore you with the pictorial evidence, but then i would be telling pork pies and if you stop by here often, you will be well accustomed to the sky action by now.
I am sat here with a tummy full of carrot and swede mash and all the goodness of …
